Official USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Maps: We prepared the most recent version available from USDA (officially released November 2023). The zones are based on PRISM 1991-2020 average extreme annual temperature data and cover all 50 states plus Puerto Rico. Available in several formats. Project sponsored by USDA Agricultural Research Service.
Gallery of State Maps: High-resolution maps of annual precipitation for the period 1981-2010, suitable for printing. Cover each of the 48 contiguous states.
Alaska: Average monthly precipitation and minimum, maximum, and mean temperature for the period 1981-2010 (completed 2018). Project sponsored by the National Park Service.
Western Canada: Average monthly precipitation and minimum, maximum, and mean temperature for the period 1961-1990 (completed 2002).
Pacific Islands: Average monthly precipitation, minimum and maximum temperature, relative humidity, and mean dew point temperature for the period 1971-2000 (completed 2006).
