Daily (1981-present) and monthly (1895-present) time series of total global solar irradiance on a horizontal surface (soltotal) and on a sloped surface (solslope) for the conterminous US are now available!

The grids can be accessed on the PRISM website or via FTP and web services. Time series for individual locations are accessed from our PRISM Data Explorer. Map graphics and animations are also available. Details on the new solar irradiance time series are found in our PRISM Datasets document.
